Hello Souqers !

My Tips and Tricks for selling on souq.com :

1- adding a picture in your listing is extremely important.... a single picture is worth 1000 words, if you are selling a used item people will like to see the real picture of the item !

2- Before adding your item price, take your time searching the same item in souq .... if you found the same item with another seller make sure your price is lower, if you are the only one selling this item tell your buyers in your listing !

3- Always make sure you add all payment methods ( COD and Online Payment) some buyers are willing to pay you online to get the shipping discount !

4- If you are a new souqer, then focus in getting high reputation first (feedbacks), start selling low priced items at the beggining, when your reputation becomes high begin selling high priced items, you will get more buyers bidding in your listing if your reputation is high !

5- Act like Professionals when your item is sold, make sure you have an email draft that will specify shipping estimation and delivery estimation, some buyers think they will get their item the next day !

TIPS TO NEW SELLERS
- FURNITURE, LARGE ITEMS AND HEAVY ITEMS ABOVE 25kgs are not covered in COD.

- DO NOT RELIST AN ITEM WITH A RESERVE, you cannot remove the reserve afterwards.

- Avoid listing a AED1 auction when you know your expected price. Simply offer your starting price. It save tons of souquers time and relieve you from the Classical "What's your reserve" question. [Report]
