Hello Souq,
We liked the reintroduction of souq protection program by rebranding it as souq safe pay service which protect both the seller and the buyer when dealing with each other's using the platform, However there is one small part missing in the whole process, let's say the seller received his online payment into his souq "my wallet" and shipped his item with aramex, three days later the buyer calls souq helpline to report that he received a broken expensive item, later souq discovers that Aramex accidently broken that item, in that case how would souq safe pay 100% secure program help both the seller and the buyer.
Kindly post your answer here.
Best Regards

hello Souq team,
i appreciate your Initiative of this securing matter for both sellers and buyers.
i have one question; im a regular customer with positive feedback, iand m posting my items for sell here and my query is; if i posted an expensive item and im sure it is as described through the text and photos, and one of souqer has bid on my item but he has a negative feedback that after he won the item and reciving the item through aramex then he send it back as he saying that the item recived is not as described...so how Souq suggest and take an action to sort this out??
thanks for your support as we have expensive items and we won't lose it going here and there and to be messed with then no proper sell is happening?
your advice is highly appreciated.
thanks & regards

Further to Souq polite response to eDubai, I would like to ask if the seller is charged for the safepay why is he not covered by an insurance from Souq?
I personally experienced item broken by aramex not because of poor wrapping but simply it fell down from their rack and they claimed to souq it was not wrapped enough so I bear the loss. While this happens on a daily basis I witness it in aramex office so many times how they mishandle items, I belive safepay must not be only for the buyer to be able to return an item not comform to the auction but protect the seller as well genuinely. Souq needs to work on that!!!
